The team was engaged on the project while already in construction with the initial assignment being to simply to manage the existing general contractor. It quickly became evident that the most efficient road to completion was to replace the general contractor and reinforce the on-site management with our team's personnel who could work hand-in-hand with the Owner to open the 4-story, 80,000 sf self storage facility.

Among the items on Big Key’s "to do" list were completion of the metal drive-up canopy and all interior spaces, clearing up and closing out all existing construction permits and approvals, putting all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems back on track for completion and trim- out. In the end, the facility opened to the public with great appreciation for the well-lit, music-filled storage areas and for its friendly customer service. The experience proved that a detailed approach to a client's assignment coupled with on-site collaboration can bring a project to fruition quickly and cost-effectively.
